Spring Dog Poop Cleanup for Indiana Yards

The first warm weekend in March is when most Indiana dog owners discover what the snow was hiding. We clear the whole winter in one visit and treat the yard so you can use it again.

What this actually involves

Indiana winters do something specific to a yard. Snow covers what is there, the freeze holds it in place, and nothing decomposes for four months. Then the thaw comes and it all appears at once, sitting on grass that has not started growing yet and has nothing to hide it.

Spring cleanups are our busiest booking of the year and the calendar tightens fast once the first sixty-degree day lands. If your yard went unscooped from December, book before the thaw rather than after — the job is easier and the schedule is open.

We work the same gridded passes as any one-time cleanup, and the deodorizing and sanitizing treatment matters more in spring than at any other point in the year. Four months of ground contact leaves a smell that scooping alone does not touch.

What's included
  • Full winter backlog cleared in one visit
  • Gridded passes across the whole property
  • Fence lines, beds and under decks
  • Lawn deodorizer and sanitizer treatment included
  • Everything hauled away
  • Optional switch straight into a weekly plan
From $99.99. Spring cleanups are priced the same as any one-time cleanup — $99.99 for a standard lot including treatment. A full winter on a large property is quoted after a photo.

How it works

How it works, start to finish

01

Tell us about your yard

Send your address, how many dogs you have, and how often you want us. Takes about a minute. We come back with a flat weekly price — no walk-through required.

02

We scoop on a schedule

Same day every week, gate latched behind us, tools disinfected between yards. You do not need to be home. Friendly dogs can stay out with us; protective ones just need to be inside.

03

It leaves with us

Every pile is bagged and hauled off your property. You get a text when the yard is done. Then you go outside and think about literally anything else.

Questions

Questions about spring yard cleanup

When should I book a spring cleanup?

Late February to mid-March, before the first sustained warm week. Booking before the thaw means you get the date you want. After the first sixty-degree Saturday our spring calendar fills within days.

Can you clean up while there is still snow on the ground?

Partially. Light or patchy snow is workable. Deep or crusted snow genuinely hides waste and we would be charging you for a job we cannot finish, so we will tell you to wait rather than take the booking.

Is a spring cleanup different from a regular one-time cleanup?

Same job, same price, same included treatment. We call it out separately because the volume after an Indiana winter is usually much higher than a normal one-time cleanup, and because the booking window is genuinely narrow.

Worth reading

Do You Really Need Poop Pickup in the Winter?

Yes. Cold does not break dog waste down, it preserves it. Everything left in an Indiana yard from December through March is still there in April, all at once, on grass that has not started growing. Skipping winter service creates the single largest cleanup of the year.
