Dog Poop Pickup for Seniors and Anyone With Limited Mobility

Bending, kneeling and carrying a bag across uneven grass are the three things that stop people keeping a dog they are perfectly capable of loving. We take that part off the list.

What this actually involves

This is written into the reason the business exists, and we would rather say it plainly than bury it. A lot of people in Greenwood and Perry Township are managing a hip, a knee, a back, a balance problem or a recovery, and the yard is the part of dog ownership that becomes genuinely unsafe first.

Nobody should have to rehome a dog over a chore. And nobody should have to ask a neighbor every week either, which is often the harder part.

The service is the same as any weekly plan, at a discounted rate. What we add is predictability — a fixed day, a text before we arrive rather than a knock, and a technician who latches the gate every single time without needing to be reminded. If a family member is arranging and paying for the service from out of state, we can bill them directly and send the confirmation text to both of you.

What's included

Is this the right one?

This service is a good fit for

  • Anyone who cannot safely bend, kneel or carry
  • People recovering from surgery
  • Households where the dog outlasted the ability to do the yard
  • Adult children arranging help for a parent from out of town
How it works

How it works, start to finish

01

Tell us about your yard

Send your address, how many dogs you have, and how often you want us. Takes about a minute. We come back with a flat weekly price — no walk-through required.

02

We scoop on a schedule

Same day every week, gate latched behind us, tools disinfected between yards. You do not need to be home. Friendly dogs can stay out with us; protective ones just need to be inside.

03

It leaves with us

Every pile is bagged and hauled off your property. You get a text when the yard is done. Then you go outside and think about literally anything else.

Questions

Questions about scooping for seniors & limited mobility

Can my daughter set this up and pay for it from another state?

Yes, and it is a common arrangement. She can set up the account and the billing in her name, and we send the visit confirmation to both numbers so everybody knows the yard was done. No paperwork needs to travel.

Will someone come to the door?

Only if you ask us to. The default is a text before we arrive, we come through the gate, do the yard, latch up, and text again when we are finished. Nobody knocks.

Is there a discount for seniors?

Yes. Our Senior & Accessibility Discount gives special pricing on every package to seniors and to anyone with a disability or physical limitation that makes yard work difficult. Mention it when you request your quote and we will apply it from the first visit.

What if I need to change the day?

Text us and we move it. There is no fee and no limit on how often. We would rather adjust the route than have you feel locked into a day that does not suit you.

Worth reading

Is a Pooper Scooper Service Actually Worth It?

For most households with two or more dogs, yes. Weekly service at around $22 replaces roughly 30 to 45 minutes of an unpleasant chore, which works out near $30 an hour of your time. For a single small dog on a large yard where someone genuinely does scoop regularly, it is harder to justify.
